I made a pair of gorgeous jeans like this for my little one... paired with this top with coordinating heart applique... cutest little set for your little Valentine :) 

Size 5 skirt/skort with butterfly and heart appliques/embroidery, complete with satin ribbon detailing and chiffon ruffled hemline complete this gorgeous skirt!

Diva wear!

New fun stuff just added!  I am amazed at how much the world of fabric has evolved.  I made some amazing finds in the fabric store... and of course came home with far more than I had planned on!  And then spent many hours sewing some new and fabulous creations!  I've listed a few of them on EBay, but have decided to considerably downsize my listings as the fees due tend to build up fast.  I just realized that every time an item cycles past the 30 days, every time it relists automatically I am re charged... bleh... My goal is to keep things listed on Ebay in auction format, a minimum of 20 items I will keep posted as auctions, and then keep the rest in my webstore. Unfortunately with the rising costs of EBay and Paypal it is far more beneficial to keep my store stocked rather than constantly relist. So I have decided to take some feature items kept in the store, and put them up for auction.  Traffic to the store has increased dramatically and for that I am greatful. I didn't realize there were so many forms of advertising online.... free at that!  So I have been busy finding ways to put myself out there!  I have decided to list a flat rate of shipping and finally figured out how to customize my own links on the store page! The world of web design is fatiguing... this is for sure... but I have to say, figuring it out for yourself is very rewarding!  I think my next step will be to start spreading word locally to mom's I know... maybe even host some open houses and invite some of the mom's over to view the clothing in real time : )  But that will mean some serious organizing.... and price tagging... oh joy : )  Wish me luck : )  Here are a few of the designs I have come up with... or shall I say 're designs'... I've used some more pre existing jeans and made them into true diva wear!

My favorite fabric... heart ruffles, with tulle hemline, and polka dot ribbon trim... These are also Old Navy Jeans... I find them to be an awesome fit, very true to size : )

Who doesn't love some white chiffon ruffles : )  Old Navy Jeans size 6.. CUTEST! Have these listed on Ebay... watchers galore !

In a word... GORGEOUS!  I am very happy with how these size 6 Children's Place jeans turned out!  Tulle galore, and beautiful fabric with polka dots and diamond print!

My Newest Creations...

Spent some time this week making a few minor alterations to some pre existing clothing... I had lots of fun adding some unique ruffles to some hemlines... I'm not quite ready to start from scratch so I thought it would be fun to embelish some cute pieces...and this is what I came up with...

Note to self... leave store design alone!... I can't seem to leave it alone... I've changed to a black and white polka dots theme... with a hint of red.... but what I really need to do is get some more clothes loaded to my inventory... But... the Christmas tree must come down... It was an amazingly wonderful holiday season but it came and went before my very eyes...time to start loading the summer clothes... Myself.. I tend to buy my daughter's summer clothes long before the snow even hits over here.. I think I must not be alone as I already have watchers on a few summer ebay listings I've added in the last few days... Here's a sneak peak... of some items I have listed both up for auction on ebay, and of course loaded to the store....

The Joys of Ecommerce...

Still muddling my way through the world of ecommerce... Learning about html, css... bleh... it's mostly been trial and error... but I think I have most of it figured out this far!  I am happy to say that I received a new sewing machine for Christmas! Yah!  So my next endeavour will be work on boutiquing some of the many pairs of jeans I have stock piled!  When I first started purchasing for my little one, I really tried to find things that I knew she would love to wear, clothes that were fun!  As she got older she started to get a little more choosie... so we started branching out to one of a kind outfits.  I have found some wonderful... and some not so great sellers out there... But what I did find... was that a pair of jeans... with ruffled hemlines and other detail work that had a Dora the Explorer theme... were... pricey for sure! But she loved them so I indulged of course!  I am so excited to be able to do some of this work myself now... So I'll be heading down to the fabric store soon and get back in touch with my home ec roots!  I hope to get some great deals and pass them onto my buyers!  Stay tuned for for my great new finds!  Happy New Year to the blog world!
